Our Level Dog Training operates with 5 intakes throughout the  year thanks to our pool of volunteer instructors. Each class has 2 instructors ensuring that you get quality learning time every week.

To enroll in this class, dogs must be at least four months old and the handler of the dog must be at least 15 years of age (unless prior arrangement has been made with the club).

Registration will open 4 weeks prior to the start date of each term and runs on a first come, first served basis.

Course Content

In this class you will learn how to:

  • understand your dog better and communicate effectively

  • teach your dog the basic commands - sit, down, stay, heel and come

  • teach your dog to obey quickly and to ignore distractions

  • solve common problems like jumping up, pulling on the lead and excessive barking.

Overall, the aim of this course is to help you to get better control over your dog, so you can enjoy your walks more and be able to give your dog some off-lead time to play and socialize with other dogs.

In order to get maximum benefit from the course we will also give you homework to practice every day.

Our Training Philosophy

Dogs learn better and are more willing to engage in activities with you when they are having fun and are happy.  That is why in modern dog training all activities is based on positive methods.  We use a system of rewards and praise to get the dogs to focus on you and what you want from them.
