Registration FAQ's

  • When will registrations open?
    Registrations will open here approximately 2 weeks prior to the start of term. The date will be posted here, and on our social media pages.

  • How do I register?
    Registration is done via a form on our website. You will be able to access the form via a button on this page when registrations open.

  • How do I pay?
    You will fill in the form and pay via credit/debit card.

  • Can you reserve me a place before registrations open?
    Please do not contact us via email or phone for a place on this course. Registrations are on a first in, first served basis via the registration form on the website.

  • I missed out on a place this term, can I be placed on the cancellation list?
    Our classes are extremely popular and fill up FAST, but we sometimes have the odd cancellation. If you have missed out and would like a place on the cancellation list for that term, please contact us

Got a new member of the family?  We know that the early days are critical in a pup's development and North Shore Dog Training Club is here to support you in getting it right.  

 

Course Content

  • Learning appropriate play and building confidence through supervised interaction with other pups of different breeds and sizes

  • Familiairisation with humans other than its own family to build trust and confidence

  • Toilet training

  • Basic household obedience

  • Handling and grooming tips

  • Getting and holding your pup's attention even with distractions

 

Participants also receive a comprehensive training booklet that supports our class.

 

More Information

This is a two term course for puppies that are aged 9 to 13 weeks on the first evening of Puppy Pre-School term.  Puppy Pre-School is held on 5 consecutive weeks, inside in the safe environment of our clubrooms, from 7.00pm until 7:45pm on Tuesday evenings.  On graduation from Puppy Pre-School the price that you pay includes automatic enrolment in the next term of our ever popular 7 week Level 1 Dog Training class which commences two weeks after you complete the first term. 

 

Class size is limited to a maximum of 6 pups so please register early.  Start dates are published on the NSDTC calendar. 

 

 

Puppy Vaccinations

Puppies are required to have had their first vaccination at the commencement of Puppy Pre-School.  Should you have any queries or concerns as to risks associated with attending the club and/or interacting with puppies that are not yet fully vaccinated, please refer to your vet for independent professional advice.
